Gersen: Distribution deals are not thing that are discussed overnight, discussion with GoG, Impulse and probably Steam most likely started months ago, for what we know maybe Impulse deal was concluded before the one with GoG.
I would be surprised if the only reason why it was released on GoG before Impulse was because Stardock had "better" (better as in more recent) games to release first.
