You are Ten, a young boy who just happens to be the key to saving the balance of the universe. You are the Bearer of Light, sent on a journey to Shambhala to face the Bearer of Dark so that the equilibrium will be restored to the world. Your base of operations is a ship in the mountains of Tibet, from which you travel between different locations and different times on your quest to restore the road to Shambhala.

Adventure fans rejoice, the second game in the Atlantis series takes everything the original had right and adds to it a stunning variety of characters and settings. You can not only explore the mystical civilization of Atlantis but also visit… Well we’re not going to spoil anything. You’ll have to find out for yourself ;) Cryo Interactive’s amazing graphics don’t disappoint and the full 3D panning environment immerses you completely in the mystic world of ancient civilizations. Atlantis 2: Beyond Atlantis features one of the best soundtracks in the genre. It is a mixture of the many cultures in which the game is set. The superb graphics and the fantastic soundtrack wouldn’t make an awesome game on their own, which is why the puzzles are a mixture of logical, inventory based puzzles and more. The difficulty of the riddles is varied (and yes there are some tough ones) but the beautiful cut scenes reward you nicely once you think your way through.

Without further ado, Atlantis 2: Beyond Atlantis is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for only $9.99 with the manual, custom wallpapers, and the original soundtrack!
Got no more money for this... Gog Gems took all
Never tried this, but I absolutely hated the first one, so I think I'll leave this well alone.
Does not seem to be very good game. Nice graphics, but... meh.
hope they release the other atlantis games soon too so we can get back to getting good games.
....finally its here, a fair warning though this Atlantis series is complex and hard pixel hunting game :D recommended for only hardcore epic adventure games players[in other words, without referring online for help at least once its impossible to finish :P], btw why is this 9.99 while the other is 5.99... wish listed
the only game in this Atlantis series that was awesome is this one

hope gog releases it soon
GOG staff: the front page lists this as $5.99 while the news and actual game page say $9.99.

Just an FYI.
consider this not a game, but a painting you put inside your living room :)

I still remember playing the demo situated on the island with monks and just going "aaaaaaaaaaawwwww" with my mouth open... the visuals, the music, the atmosphere!

of course, the pixel hunting that followed nearly killed me, as well as other aspects, but it is still worth your while if you love cryo's imagination as much as I do ;)

Yeah, I am confused too. Hope it should be 5,99 monies , no 9,99 monies. But i'm afraid Atlantis III will be also 9,99.

Maybe it is some kind of promotion? =D
(/joking of course)
They fixed the price already. Unfortunately it's indeed $9,99.

Hmm, not on the front page image at the top even after forced refresh of the browser.

Side note: Do I get a cookie, GOG? :)
My guess is that at $9.99 this will be one of the poorest selling games ever on GOG.
