It arrives!

Syndicate, the classic isometric game where you play to rule the world, lands on GOG.com today for just $5.99!

Played from a top-down isometric view, Syndicate presents the player with a simple goal: world domination. As a “Marketing Director”--or, more accurately, a hitman--for a new syndicate, the player will need to lead a squad of four operatives to infiltrate, capture, search, and destroy their way to the top of the corporate food chain. Critically acclaimed for its gameplay, splashy graphics, and deep customization options, Syndicate is one of those good old titles that every gamer should have on their shelf.

If you're a fan of games, fun, or taking over the world, this is definitely right up your alley, so pick it up now.
Going to buy this soon. Thanks for getting this game here GOG, it truly deserves its place here.

Detlik: I just wanted to know some reasons to look forward to it :)
well, it's generally mentioned when people talk about the best games ever made, which is good enough a reason for me to pick it up...
Wait. This isn't an FPS!
as usual, NO EXPANSIONS NO BUY.....
From the game page:
"One of very few games to have made it onto almost every “Best Game of All Time” list."

Well, that's pushing it...
In the sense that it's out of context and not even close to being true. Maybe "best classic PC games" lists, and even then, it's not as well known as a game like Deus Ex (at least not nowadays) or other PC classics.

I don't mean it's bad, by the way, I'm just saying that's questionable marketing. (I loved S2 when I was a kid. Well, the shareware demo, anyway...)
I'd definitely say it's true from a European point of view at least.
So EA is still being stingy with extras...

Now that you have added this how about Theme park? I'd kill to play that out side the DS and at a pace so slow that the year is not over before I place a little path.

Well, i woud rather buy it than not buying it even withouth extras.
The orginal is hard to come by in perfect condition and if you find it is usally pretty expensive.
Hm, what a surprisingly lukewarm response to the release of one of the most frequently requested games. Anyway, thank you so much for making this possible, GOG! I'm going to buy the game now...
Glad to see Syndicate here! My backlog and bills are still piled up from the holidays but some day i'll pull it off the wishlist. Ah memories, I still remember being suspended for installing and playing this game on school computers. :O
If I like X-Com would I like this? I'm intrigued, but I don't know if I'd like it...
Come on, you silly Polish people, take my money!

I'm tired of seeing the little spinning thing, it's making me dizzy.

Probably, but I don't remember it being as strictly tactical as that series. I may be wrong, it's been ages since I played it, but I remember it being like a more technical version of Cannon Fodder.
