oh yeah, sorry, forgot to edit that in, my bad. it was in the second post i did on this forum, you see i forgot to save my notepad file last time so i got stuck with some of the old numbers and went over them again...

Well, I'm too old to remember everything from school but I think chance should be even higher?

Example: Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga: 2 games (=2 draws) and 10 entrants
Chance of not winning in 1st draw = 8/10 = 4/5
Chance of not winning in 2nd draw = 8/9
Chance of not winning at all = 4/5 * 8/9 = 32/45 = 0.71(1)
So chance of win = 1 - 0.71(1) = 0.28(8) = 28.(8)%

Edit: Please correct me if im wrong :D

If you wanted to do them both at different times, then yes that would work. However, i assumed that the draws would take place simultaneously. but that could also be an error on my part, im not quite certain lol.

If I can interrupt the math for a moment, I'd like to thank Cowboy Bebop for his generosity to the community. I won Lands Of Lore and the prize is greatly appreciated - I hope I get to return the good will some day. I also hope you're feeling the good karma, because you've made somebody on the other side of the world very happy!

I'm really looking forward to playing my gifted copy of LoL, it was right up at the top of my wishlist! Thanks again man!
