Schnuff: I like watching Rugby so I tried watching a game of american football.
It was like something from another planet.
10 - 20 seconds play and than stop and wait.
But than i can't understand whats so exciting with NASCAR. Nearly exact the same cars racing in an oval?
Americans are just strange.
Yeah it is weird watching 10 - 20 seconds and just stop.
But isnt basically alot of sports watching the same for hours, formula1, tour de france, ice skating.
Even soccer is boring like that watching a ball being chased for 90 minutes.

Sure, but there is still more action.
Heck during my stay in Australia i even enjoyed watching some cricket games (not knowing the rules...but there are
hundreds of them).

Heh, I recall a stat somewhere that in 4 hours of NFL broadcast, there's just around 15 minutes of actual play :P
Hockey is bad like that, too: It takes at least three hours to show a 1-hour game. I'm always amused by fans who bash soccer for being boring, in favour of such sports XD
I'm through to next week. :D

Oh shut up. :P
OK, nobody got eliminated in game 1.
I have no idea about American football so I don't what people are talking about most of the time here (although I imagine if I talked about cricket you would all be confused as well).

But good luck to the remaining players.

Hey, thanks again for the donation.

Yeah, I was in Jamaica a few months back, watched a couple cricket games/matches and I had no idea what was going on!
Nobody was eliminated in game 2, either.

Am I to assume that we can pick the same team more than once? A lot of pools preclude this but it being the playoffs with limited options I'm figuring we are allowed. Just checking. :D

Yes, you can. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Otherwise a lot of people would be getting knocked out in roundabout ways that wouldn't be too fair.

Adambiser was eliminated in game 3. Ah, shucks, I had my money on Carolina for the superbowl! Oh well.

11 players are left now!!! At least 1 if not more than 1 will be knocked out depending on the outcome of the Denver vs. San Diego game.

San Diego started a nice comeback. Unfortunately for them, it was a bit too late. Sorry Melvinca :(

10 players are left out of the original 28.

1 more set of games before the Superbowl.

Next week there will only be 2 games to pick from!!

If your name is on this list, then you can still participate in the contest:
