predcon: While you're there, get the Keen pack for $5. You can use episodes 4 and 5 as a base for the "Universe is Toast" mod trilogy, which is really well done and offers closure following the cliffhanger of "Aliens Ate my Babysitter!". The mod trilogy simply swaps sprites and sounds and music, so you have to have the original game .exe's as a base. That means that while Episode 4 is shareware and free for all, you have to have bought Episode 5 to legally use it's .exe as a base for the mod. This keeps the mod maker out of legal trouble for simply making a pre-batched mod that uses Episode 5 resources, technically making it a pirated game.
That's what I did. I forget when, but the iD pack was on some sort of ridiculous discount previously, and it was literally cheaper to re-buy the ones I had.

I was, however, not aware of that mod, I shall have to look it up.
No Duke Nukem Forever... really?

GameRager: I so gotta pira...err BUY a legal copy of Gloom someday. It looks rockin'. I wonder why it was less popular than Doom...it looks so awesome.
Probably because it was an Amiga game. And an Amiga game published post-"Bankrupt Commodore Closes Down" to boot.
