Just as well, though. I haven't really enjoyed a Volition title since Red Faction II.
Anyone really surprised? Really?
Vanilla RF:G was barely playable, the first patch fixed some things while breaking others, and the second fixed the things that the first broke but some people still have problems with the game. Considering all that I think I'll wait until RF:A receives at least 2 patches and costs $5 or less.

No demos is about 50% of the reason people pirate new games :/
Played through RF:G for the first time only two months ago. It ran great for me and I had a lot of fun with it (normally don't like sandbox games).

This news about armageddon PC not getting a demo is disappointing. It sounds like they changed the RF:G formula and I'd like to see how that works out before buying.
RF:G's concept was great - fully destructable sandbox world. However, the red planet setting was a little bland and all of the building were like plain cubes that toppled the same way with little reward. It was similiar to toppling cardboard boxes in a literal sandbox. The story was also very bland and cliche, so shoot me for being sceptical about the "new" concept that has been implemented in other games as well. W/out a demo I will definitely wait until the community gives its verdict.
