As many of you figured cucumber stand for....well excrement. Anyway I started giveaway around my birthday from which I shamefully ran away, I didnt forget about it, yesterday it will be updated and continued, sorry for the long waiting period.
Next subject on agenda are my questions. I am interested in streaming/recording lets play videos. I have everything I need, I just need to figure out best settings. First question is, what do I need for best possible settings for livestream? Good webcam if I am recording myself, good upload speed and? And for recording what is most important thing?
Another question...how to get proper fanbase? Where to sent links of my lets plays, my livestreams and stuff? I would want to make this my hobby...I will either make my first game A valley without a wind, Amnesia or anything you guys suggest.

I think there was a pretty good topic about Let's Play videos and the tech to use to make them at some point, while you are waiting for actual answers you might try searching to see if you can find any good stuff.

I sadly cannot share any wisdom concerning the technical details for I have none, but I can give you baseless hints how to get a fanbase. I don't have one (on the internet), so these are just points I have observed while watching popular people's videos.

First and foremost, everyone loves distinct personalities, but the element of mystery is also important. If you lack a distinct personality, you can come up with a catch phrase that you keep repeating, or have a distinctive array of curses to use. You may even use pop/geek culture catch phrases or curses occasionally to gain culture reference bonus points. For mystery, you may, for example, suddenly start screaming occasionally for no reason perceivable to the viewer (it'll keep the watchers guessing what your major malfunction is). :p

Other matters are of secondary importance. Fluent spoken English is a plus. It could also work if it's so bad that the Finnish matriculation examination board wants to use it in their English listening comprehension tests, since then it'd be so awful that it might go viral.
