Almost 50 Bundles and Special Deals up to 85% off all at once--the biggest sale for the longest day!

Chances are, that many people will miss this news post. With all the exciting offers exploded all over the front page, it will be easy to overlook it. But since you're here, and you're reading this--let us explain. Today is the longest day of the year (at least on the Northern Hemisphere it is). That means, you can play more games before the night falls, than on any other day. We want to make sure you have plenty of excellent titles to play, so we give you almost 50 of our [url=http://gog.com/NoDRMSummer]2013 #NoDRM Summer Sale bundles and special deals all at once.

Always wanted to check out FTL: Faster Than Light? It's there, waiting for you, for only $2.49! You thought about completing your collection of Telltale adventures? You can grab any of them 85% off! What about ? If you waited to save more than "one pretentious hipster dollar" on your purchase, today you'll save 50%! Missed the [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/definitive_dungeons_and_dragons]Definitive Dungeons and Dragons Bundle? It's back, and it's only $20.10 again. We could go on like this until the shortest night of the year falls, but we don't want to stop you anymore. Enjoy the (dare we say it?) mind-blowing 2013 #NoDRM Longest Day of Gaming Super-Sale!

Happy Summer Solstice, everyone!

NOTICE: If you own some of the games in a bundle, you can complete it with the missing games with the bundle discount applied. All you need to do to get only those you are missing, is to click "buy now" button on a bundle, and then manually remove the games you own from your cart at the check out. Sorry for the inconvenience!
this is like the fourth time for the last 6 months I see Dungeon and Dragons bundle in sale, while still waiting for a significant Fallout pack sale
looks like I'll have to wait more, it has been recently on steam for 5 pounds, guess I should have bought it, cuz 3x5 USD doesn't convince me to buy it
when does the summer sale end?

XYCat: when does the summer sale end?
July 5th, some deals end sooner though.
Well, grabbed new set of Fez and FTL + the Blood Omen game I was missing. it is kind of sad looking through the good sale and not seeing anything I really need or is missing at the moment. Luxury problems for the win?

jalister: Bullfrog is one of the legendary developers. It's worth buying them all just to have them.
Ehh, maybe. Not like it would break the bank. I have to say though, I hated Populous, and really don't have any desire to play Dungeon Keeper again even though I did enjoy it back in the day. Magic Carpet sounds somewhat interesting, but there's pretty much no chance of me ever playing it given my backlog. Oh, the impossible dream of "catching up!"

musteriuz: Seriously? I have to buy each bundle seperately? Couldn't there be a "Add to cart" option so that one can buy everything you want from this special at once?
If you add every game in a bundle to your cart individually it gives you the discount. That way you can get multiple bundles in one purchase. Up to you to pick the lesser of two evils, I agree this should be more user friendly. (Or maybe there's some easy hidden way to do it, I am new here).

jase23: I understand the countdown timer on the daily deals, but how long is this summer sale with 50% off most titles going to last?
avatar
jalister: July 5th. Some publishers are only 1 week though.
Thank you.
Seems that the only game from my wishlist which was bundled is NWN2 and I can't buy it because I don't want the Dragonshard and the Demon Stone, what a shame... Meanwhile thinking about the Kain and Raziel saga, and then lots of games for the half of the price! :-D

Yep, thanks, I figured it out. Make sure everything you want is on your wishlist, get 1 item in the cart and then just add the rest from the right hand side of the screen.
So this is the last day of the sale?

Maybe I have a stronger nostalgia for Bullfrog since I spent so much time playing these on my Amiga 500. I loved Populous, and the heartbeat that grew stronger as I was losing scared the girl next door. I had my Amiga hooked up to a 500 watt receiver and large speakers.

Crosmando: So this is the last day of the sale?
Nope, it will still go until July 5th, some deals excluded. This is just a big special day

Also, does anyone out there have recommendations for getting Retro City Rampage. I liked the old style GTA games, and my understanding is this is the same kind of game done in NES style.
I hate you, GOG.

KarmaTV: King of Dragon Pass should be on every game shelf, at least with that price.

How long will this promo last? Till tomorrow 1 am GMT, as before? There is no counter on a frontpage, nor a note on a newspage about expiry date. Or am I missing something?
avatar
Ghorpm: At the very top of the main page (just gog.com) you can see: "ALL DAILY DEALS LIVE FOR THE NEXT 20:27:40" (and counting of course)
Oh, there it is :D

Thanks!
Dzięks! ;)
I'm uncertain about Book of Unwritten Tales. On the one hand a lot of people praise it and it's from a European studio but on the other hand the scantily clad woman gives me an impression that it's using American Pie type of humor than Pixar kind of humour. Has anyone played it here? And are all female characters dressed like that in these games?
If I didn't enjoy FTL, what are the chances of me not enjoying Zafehouse Diaries?

I've watched a few let's plays on youtube and even played some of the demo but I still honestly can't decide if I'll like it in the long run.....
