Not knowing what what the heck GTM time is.. thinking i had till noon...

Woke up this morning logged in to buy the witcher 2.. and saw it expired.. made for a not so good morning.. :(

I already had witcher 1, and wanted to gift it to a friend, and i've been looking forward to grabbing it all week.. Totally bummed..

Sorry but thats only your fault. It was stated GMT is the timezone. Maybe there will be another promotion like this soon. You should have more luck next time.

GMT... Greenwich Mean Time.. The time that is the world standard? The one all other times are listed as + or - hours from?
For the US it's between 5 and 8 hours ahead atm I think

Greenwich Mean Time? The zero of the +GTM and -GTM? Well, sometimes you learn the hard way. Think of it as an investment for the future.

Isn't UTC really the standard these days?
Anyway, as pointed out, the time zone was pointed out, and the deal was up for 48 hours, so the OP really doesn't have much to complain about.

I only know EST and the other US timezones for the most part. I never bothered with GMT tbh.

GMT is the only true time , all other Times Zones are an Illusion ....

Nah GMT is still the standard of time UTC is the standard of atomic time and is only known in retrospect (GMT is kept accurate to solar time +/- 1 second, UTC is the average time of 200ish atomic clocks around the world and is calculated over about a month at a time)

Yeah they tried to ignore it for 10 years when Washington D.C wasn't chosen (seriously)

Edit to add
You know you can physically see the difference between GMT and UTC? GPS uses UTC 0 0 0 on them is ~150m east of the meridian...

Not to be TOO crass but time is all an illusionary system made up by man to organise a series of consecutive events into a chronological order.
