Hey all, it's the first of January and I had a blast over Christmas so here's a little giveaway!
I will be giving away two games from the Tex Murphy series: Under A Killing Moon and Pandora Directive.
The former was a ground breaking game in the Tex Murphy series, switching to FMV etc. Nevertheless, despite it being funny, I believe that it's campyness ultimately worked against it. Ultimately, UAKM was just a lead up to Pandora Directive, which is an absolute masterpiece in adventure gaming and computer gaming in general. I won't rant on about this game, because I have already done so in numerous threads. If interested, google for it (since the search function is useless).
Pandora Directive was the first game that my parents bought me and is very dear to me. It was a defining experience in my childhood as far as computer gaming went. A brilliant game. As a result of this, I'd like to gift these games to people who are genuinely interested in playing them (also who don't mind FMV) and would rather not give them to people who will put them in their backlog indefinitely, or who aren't really interested. I wouldn't simply mind giving them to people who have already played them but don't have the GOG version (CD-swapping was admittedly a bitch). Of course, I'd like to initiate some people into the world ot Tex, so if you're interested, do enter!
So in order to enter, please let me know which game you'd like and why! I will then decide on that basis or will simply random.org them.
Enjoy!
Edit: So I just won two of Gojays2025's Steamgifts giveaways and in order to give a little something back, I decided to add Overseer to this giveaway as well. Overseer handles a little bit differently from the other two games and I'd recommend people to play it after the other two. It's a fantastic game in it's own right, just a little bit different. In fact, I believe that it has the puzzle design out of the three. And not to mention the nailbiting ending! Ok the cat's out of the bag now. When's the sequel coming?!?
So I'll just random.org this one or if you'd like this one, please state so in your post!
