After searching for the Combined Bonus Content Pack (as it was not downloading) and seeing the recommendation to get a newer GoG Downloader, I did so and none of my old downloads are showing up, despite the fact that their files still exist in the same area this version of the Downloader is downloading them to.

Did I do something wrong when getting the new Downloader, or is there some way to connect the old downloads to the new Downloader or should I just redownload?

If the files are still there I'm not sure what the problem is...
The files are in the folder, but not on the GoG Downloader.

This is a problem because it's less convenient (and I like having all my stuff set up with pretty icons in the convenient downloading tool) because I'd have to check the folder, when instead I could simply see with a glance at the Downloader to see if I have downloaded it.

If that's how you've been using it then that's fine, but I don't really think it's a particularly intended use. It's just a side effect of you not clearing out the download list. :P
... I think I'm either misunderstanding what you're saying or you're misunderstanding me.

I had an older version of the GOG Downloader with GOG games downloaded, and they showed up on the GOG Downloader, then I downloaded a new version of the GOG Downloader and the games no longer show up on the GOG Downloader, so I have to go check the folder manually, which is less convenient.

Was that clear?

It was clear, but SirPrimalform tried to explain that the downloader was never really intended to be used as a list of earlier downloaded installers or as a launcher of them, only as a downloader.

But no, there isn't any way to hook already-downloaded files up with the new downloader, and I believe it also automatically clears the list of finished files when it's closed.

I see, it's a shame that it had such a convenient format then : /

I'll go to the suggestions area now. Thanks for your time.
I also noticed that the old downloader and the new downloader put the files in different folders. For example, BG2 goes into baldurs_gate_2 for the old downloader, and into baldurs_gate_2_complete for the new downloader. TW2 goes into witcher_2_ee for the old downloader, and the_witcher_2 for the new one.
