Hi folks!
I'm a most satisfied user of GoG.com and proud to be a member of this community, however..
.. I recently migrated to linux (Slackware 13.37) and I'm having problems with the downloader.
I already tried both JGoGDownloader and the GoGDownloader linux scripts, but those don't even let me login - I guess it's because the downloader changed the way it manages games in the april update. However..
.. I installed Opera and setted up the gogownloader: protocol application to :
Program: wine
Parameter: /downloader/directory/GoGDownloader.exe
Since Opera wasn't accepting wine "etc/etc/etc.exe"
Now, Opera is managing gogdownloads just fine -when I open a link the downloader fires up.
And this is good.
BUT if I close it and then re-open it (Both outside and from Opera) the download list CLEARS! Even though the downloads directory retains the old files.
You will understand that downloading games like NeverWinter Nights (2.1 gb) from the browser is kinda hard to do with a 800 kb/s connection, expecially without downloading resume : /
Thanks to any who will help,
Amez
