I'm in the process of transferring all my websites off American-owned servers and onto European servers (Sorry, don't trust the US government as far as I can throw them, never have but especially now that it's common knowledge they're spying and illegally downloading information from hundreds of US companies - Google, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube, a slew of other American-owned internet companies etc -- so I'm moving all my business concerns, email accounts etc. out of the US and back to Europe).

My question is, has anyone ever had websites hosted on One.com?

Based in Denmark, they get very good reviews, what they offer as far as service goes is much better than my American hosting company and their prices are far, far cheaper than what I pay my current company. Plus, they offer completely free hosting for a YEAR right now.

Anyone used them? Liked them? Hated them? With so many Europeans on here, hopefully someone has?

Thanks for that, I'm not familiar with them but I'll check them out as well. I'm not moving my sites for another couple of weeks as that's when my current hosting service expires and I don't want to pay for the renewal on American servers :)

And yes, I do use a VPS for some of my sites and use VPNs for much of my internet surfing. Not that I ever do anything illegal or even look for anything that isn't actually quite boring (news articles, political stuff etc.) but it's none of the government's business (no matter which government it is) what I'm looking for online.

Oh and if I use a search engine, I use DuckDuckGo as they are one of the few companies that don't keep ANY records on their users, so even if the US government wants their information there's not much information to have :)
