bought this game recently. Great art design and fantastic music however I had some major delay issues with jumping. Drove me absolutely bonkers. Gave up on the second mission because of the delays.

Mentalepsy: I wouldn't really compare it to Castlevania, though. It plays more like one of the Ninja Gaiden-inspired NES sidescrollers from the early 90s, like Vice: Project Doom.
Yeah, to me it feels a lot like Natsume's NES games, like Shadow of the Ninja or Shatterhand.

Joymasher are doing a new one called Odallus that really does look more like Castlevania, at least as far as having a horror theme.

Thank you for reminding me of that. Odallus does look pretty sweet, and there aren't enough old-school action platformers in the modern sea of puzzle games and art projects. Hopefully they will tighten up the controls and ramp up the difficulty as compared to Oniken.
I haven't any jump delay. Strange, maybe they patched it out?
