Sweet, sweet irony.

Oh, and here's the after. Gosh, mysterious how the website changed all of a sudden.

This came up yesterday.

And the term for what he slipped in is called "santorum" these days.
I think that this calls for a test case. Let's hit Lamar with the full extent that SOPA allows and see if he still thinks it's a good idea to proceed with SOPA then.

Well I beg your pardon. I didn't notice a thread on it yesterday or today, so I assume you're referring to the main SOPA thread?

I found it amusing enough to post in its own thread. I am extremely sorry for wasting your time.

There was a new almost identical thread yesterday about parts being removed.

You mean the one you and I posted in yesterday that had absolutely nothing to do with what I just posted? This one?

Seriously, Hedwards - find something to do. The only people with the right to criticize people for cluttering GOG's forum are GOG moderators.

Back on topic, it's gotta be embarrassing for the guy. Yes, it's an innocent mistake, but it's a pointed example of how badly that bill could go if we actually implemented it.

You => point

If you posted in that topic then you know that this post belongs there, bitching about how I'm not a moderator really doesn't do anything about the fact that you've been here long enough to know better and that the people in that thread would probably be interested in it. It gets really confusing really fast trying to track things like this across a half dozen threads and several fora.

Honestly, I have no particular interest in continuing in this thread if you're going to be so cranky. It was a helpful pointer that this thread really ought to be in the one which is discussing the provision being removed for further research. I'm not sure how this thread really makes any sense outside of that context.

Very well. I shan't post any more - consider the thread closed.

Well, I understood it, it made sense and I thought it was funny. I also do not think this post belongs in the SOPA thread you are linking to, as this is more of a footnote in the discussion which do not have much more relevance except its funny/ironic nature. I see it as a way of not cluttering threads to much. Long live hypertext...
