It's called GOOD OLD GAMES FOR A REASON. Stop shoving newer games (the advertising is atrocious) down our throats.
All you should be concerned about is: GOOD. OLD. GAMES.

NOT GOOD NEW GAMES
NOT BAD OLD GAMES
NOT ANY COMBINATION OF GOOD, OLD AND GAMES BUT GOOD OLD GAMES.
They dropped the Good Old Games name quite some time ago.

It's how they built their brand. I would so much rather return to Good Old Games than have to deal with.. yech.. gog. What is gog anyways? I have a feeling gog is just another word for that white stuff that forms on your lips when the air gets a little too dry.
Well, I guess you have to come out from underneath your rock for some fresh air once in awhile.
Not mean to offend but it's an open letter from you, I dont think you speak on behalf of all gog community here(I'm sure not for me at least)

There's enough who feel this way.
Watch as the indie devs and their little buddies hop on the personal attacks :D

Or me. I can't even play any of the new games but I don't have a problem with it.

Well if you'd stop worrying about your hipster cred (and/or staying on the good side of the Great Old Ones) you'd be able to enjoy all these fine new games.
The amount of whine in the forums recently...
NEWSFLASH: GOG stopped being Good Old Games over two years ago when they started accepting indies. Since then they have been just GOG.com.

How about asking the community before speaking in their name?

Oh, wait. This has already been done. Not by you, though - but GOG did so. Strangely enough, the majority of the community welcomed newer games.

Apparently that doesn't stop the vocal minority from opening another copy of the same old complaint thread every two weeks or so - despite the complaint being pointless since the number of classic releases has gone up, not down.

Ah well, to each his own, and everyone is entitled to his own opinion. It would be nice if people had the decency to not dress up their own personal opinion as that of "the community", though.
