What in the world is OpenGL? I'm trying to fix the mouse speed proplem in Scratches, and a developer said to change the vsync settings in OpenGL. I've looked through every single tab and section of control panel, and can't find any mention of my video card.

OpenGL is one of the APIs used for 3D graphics acceleration. It predates DirectX by like a decade or so. I think you'd be changing that in the settings for the game itself as Windows doesn't generally include support for DirectX, if it ever did.

Huh?

If you mean OpenGL then graphics cards natively include support for it with the drivers. Using either Catalyst Control Centre or Nvidia Control Panel to make the required changes should fix it.

TCMU2009, you should have your graphics card's control panel in the control panel section. The only reason it wouldn't be there is if you haven't installed the drivers for it. Which would explain a lot really.

Yeah, I'm kind of stressed. That's easily the most absurd thing I've said in a long time. Yes, that should have been OpenGL.
I've looked all over the control panel, and nothing is there. I'm playing on a laptop with Intel integrated graphics if that changes anything.

He must have meant an 'in game' setting, or some config option. Windows doesn't even acknowledge the existence of OpenGL anymore for fear of Arkose. So it's probably that there's a file in the root of your game with something like .ini, or .conf, etc. that has the setting you need to change. It will be in your install directory.

Are you looking at the Windows control panel or your video card's configuration application? There won't be anything in the Windows control panel, what you need would only be found in your video card's settings (assuming we aren't actually talking about an in-game setting). What model of integrated video card/chipset do you have?
Nevermind, I found it. The vsync option was hidden in the graphics properties menu. All I had to do was right click on the screen and open up the video options lol.
