Ahoy Ahoy,

With the release of the Empire Earth discount this w-e (Especially the first 2 ), I think It's a great opportunity to set up Network Games between GOG community members via Hamachi ! Now would be a great time considering the discount.

Are any of you interested ? For a cheap 4.99$, or 2.99 for the 1st game of the serie, there's a lot of fun to be had between community members !
We could Organize tournaments, playful sessions, etc...

Please state your opinion ?

I would certainly join in if the idea develops enough momentum, though not on that game.
If people state their time frame and list the games they bought with GOG (still lacking a list on the webpage!) I'm convinced that we could get something going.
Could somebody provide the potentially viable games we could play be it CO-OP or Multiplayer ?

I'm personally interested in playing Nox in Co-op with a fellow GOG-gamer in the near future.

But If other games are available on discount on GOG, why not ?
I would not mind playing multiplayer Nox either. That or Sacrifice (never played it in multiplayer). Empire Earth is sadly a game that I don't enjoy though.
We'll be doing a Starcraft 2 tournament in near future. If you're interested, maybe a spot will open up.

Very nice idea. Currently I have not enough time, but this thread should be a super-thread. And one should think about a good system for finding possible partners.

What this system should include:

- You can specify which games you would want to play online.
- You can search for others also wanting to play this game.
- You can enable sharing your online status with others.

Does Hamachi does this? I am not familiar with it.
The thing with setting tournaments up this way is:

- We're all over the world on all sorts of different schedules, computer gear and bandwidth capabilities.
- We all own different games and have different tastes on what we'd rather play.

So, from the thousands of customers GOG has, you ask around the hundreds of forumers for the dozens of owners of a specific game and get a couple who can actually play it with you at the set date with no lag. :)

Oh, well, still worth a shot. I own Empire Earth the first and Sacrifice as well, have never played either, except for the demos a long while back, so don't expect masterful tactics.

Actually, if I joined you guys, I'd lag you all down to hell and you'd get me to play around 3 a.m. or something. Lebanon, Sweden, Germany, Macedonia... none of you guys are right around the corner from me, so I guess I'd better bail out. :)
