My list of GoG-Games is growing and growing but the downloading and archiving is getting to be a bit of a pain, because the game and copious extras always have to be downloaded seperately. That's a lot of clicks and checking "Did I get it all?" Then I have to archive and PAR2 it all and I was thinking, maybe GoG could do it for me?

I'd like to have the option to download a single-file archive of a game including all extras, which would ideally be checksummed and protected against bit rot.
I wouldn't mind this, but I can also see why they don't do it.

As it stands, I doubt most people even look at the extras. And those that do, tend to be like me and grab manuals, hint guides, and wallpapers (and leave soundtracks and ringtones). Offering a "Download it all" option would just encourage people to download everything, even if they don't really "want" it, which will just waste bandwidth.
I certainly want this option too. Downloading and archiving everything manually is such a pain.

Oh wow, how did you even find this thread? :D Nevermind, this request has popped up more than once, I really hope GoG is working on it 'cause it would be great... Maybe I'd even back up my archive too then!

Magical tool called SEARCH (keywords "download all")?
I don't think they're going to, sadly. But there are several community-made downloaders, I think some of them download the extras.

Well yeah, it's also usually broken when I'm searching for something :D I smell conspiracy...
I would like a download-all option, as well - since I do it now, anyway. I can see the argument for saving bandwidth... Along those lines, though, what I would like to see first is something to let me know that they added to the extras. I remember seeing a thread about a few extras they released for some games - made me go back and check all of my games - there were a few other extras that were new since I had purchased the game.
Yeah those features would be nice:
- Download all extras
- Version tracking
GOG is awfully slow with updating the site and extending the functionality of the service. Since one year there is basically no change.

What does 'archiving everything' mean? I thought we can download and re-download without restrictions?

Of course, but having a local copy can be more convenient depending on the circumstances (especially for those with slower internet connections and/or data caps).
how about an "archive everything" function?

mrmarioanonym: how about an "archive everything" function?
That would be nice... I have dozens of games here and I would like to download them all (with extras). I would like option to download all the updated ones as well.

Also I would not mind option todownload all selected games. E.g. I buy five games in a series and I do not want to click on them to download games and extras just to find out that I forget to click on something so I have to go on the web, log in, find the game and download it again.
