My favorite character has to be Earthworm Jim, I have played it so much when I was younger and I was even addicted to the cartoons :)

But because I have the games on my gameboy, I would like a $5.99 so I can finally try Wing Commander 1+2 out. It's a gem I missed in the good old days :(

Hmm. It's hard for me to pick a favorite character, when the characters in a good game all play off of one another to make the experience. I could pick any character in a game like Fallout, yet the characters there all add into the melting pot that makes the world and creates the atmosphere. They all make the adventure memorable.
