Aliasalpha: At least for me, the biggest problem with a keyboard & mouse for consoles is the setup, balancing a keyboard & mouse on your lap when sitting on the lounge isn't an ideal way to go, nor is dumping a comfy chair in favour of a more practical desk

On the other hand, most couch cushions work great as a surface for any optical mouse, and a good sturdy TV tray can be used if you need better use of the keyboard...
Still, it's not really a good solution for a console, but I do have a PC hooked up to my TV and I haven't had any trouble playing games on it...
