I can think of multiple games involving Mechs that include blood. For one there is Shogo (available on GOG). IIRC also G-Nome, a more traditional mech simulator, had blood effects when killing soldiers. And then there was Future Cop, an arcade shooter where the player controls a mech and gets to see loooooots of blood as he wreaks havoc among the puny enemies.
Actually mechs qualify for the term robot. :B

Actually I would prefer The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes. The Case of the Serrated Scalpel is one of my favorite games of all time. The story is just perfect

oh oh - Valve is finally on board, but the only game they start with is Ricochet. If it do not become a bestseller they will not get any more games on here.

(The other Ricochet games are not bad at all, by the way)

I still don't get why the PC version has such a bad reputation. I think its graphics are the same with the Amiga version, and the audio was (is) also delightful, with Roland MT-32 that is. With Soundblaster/Adlib the audio is what it is.

The only big problem I found with it was that setting up controls for two players was a bit problematic, mostly due to PC/MS-DOS limitations for two joysticks. I think we ended up playing with a joystick and keyboard combo when playing it with my brother.

The only sports game I really remember enjoying, unless you count some boxing games as sports games (like 4D Sports: Boxing).

I don't think I actually ever played the PC version, to be honest. It's probably more of a general thing. At the time when the Amiga was at its peak, the Amiga version of any game was almost invariably superior to the DOS version.

Also, getting the Amiga version here would not only mean access to the Bitmap Brothers catalog, it would also mean that Amiga games in general were on their way here, which would be fantastic.
