Did anyone ever play that online game called Planetarion? Back in the early 2000's it was fantastic. People could have their own planets (which all had unique co-ordinates) You could build ships to send to attack or defend other planets, build defence turrets on your own planet and mine for things in order to build ships/gain technology.

Planets were divided into galaxies of about 10 planets, each with a leader. There were leaderboards to see who was the strongest. It was always fun to see the results of a battle, and fragmented armies joining together to fight.

If only they could do it as a free to play again. Or a clone series...
Oh yes, I did. hirr member - we really did have the most fun. Nothing was as wonderful as the end of season suicide runs, all very carefully picked and researched targets. Never someone undeserving.

Otoh - glad I got that over with and out of my way. Never ever, ever touched a Massive Multiplayer game since and never ever will again.
