We are living in a world of constant terror and fear and only a little hope for salvation.
So i was shocked about this news that has consequences for millions worldwide.
Yes, its true...in April this year IKEA stops selling their shelf system Expedit.
IKEA the Swedish company renowned and infamous by billions of hopeful Do-it-Yourselfers around the world for their
creation of the IKEA allen key makes a big mistake.
This shelf is not only very good for storage of records....its the best shelf for gamers and their memorabilia.
You can store hundreds of boxes/gadgets in it.
This is an direct attack against us gamers of god old boxed games!!!
So please your help is needed.
It takes only a few clicks to support the movement that hopefully will stop IKEA's nefarious plan.
Here is a link for the German site (if you can't find one in your country start one!!).

Nice shelf Hippo! :)
So that's what a "shelf" looks like.

Meh, I still say my method of piling everything up on the floor is still best.
i don't have a facebook account since those peckers tried to extort my ID card from me

but it's a cool shelf :)
I'm still bitter that they discontinued the Jerker desks. :(

I'm at mine right now, and it makes me sad that I'll never buy another of them.

That's a very nice game shelf you got there. ;)

It does seem a bit odd why IKEA would do away with them as they do seem to be one of their more popular items. I actually got one of them myself last September. I sure appreciate having all that drawer space now. I must admit that the organization and storage of my assorted knick knacks before that left a lot to be desired. I guess I'm not making enough use of the 'open' cubes, but that's okay. It works for me.

They are replacing them with a new *modern* system.
Only problem...its smaller than the old one so you'll see a difference....and gamers have very keen eyes o_O

Believe it or not, I actually do have a Jerker desk, and I am at it right now. I mourn the linguistic potential of the desk almost as much as the desk itself. :)

:-(
I have to admit I always saw shelves as a way of disorganising an organised mess.
Oh, as long as they keep selling the Skruvsta chair I'm good. Seriously, it's the most comfortable chair I've ever had the joy of gaming or working in.
