Stooner: Zeliard.... I read about this game few weeks back, and then voted for it: ;p

That's an incredibly hard game if you don't have access to the maps. The inferno level is devilish in terms of the air currents and one way walls.

Good times.

Personally, I'm rather fond of Secret Agent Man, even though it is kind of on the easy side. Same goes for Crystal Caves.

For me, the worst level was the last one, before the penultimate boss and finally the end boss. After hours of gameplay, I stumbled upon an air current that transported me to the only unexplored part of the cave by pure luck. I also think Magia Stone was overpowered. But the item progression in this game from the lowly training sword to a long-reaching weapon of destruction was pure fun.

Charon121: On the other hand, I found Jazz Jackrabbit to be a bit bland.
Maybe at this point it is safe to admit that I've never really liked Jazz the Jackrabbit that much. It was a technical marvel at its time and a good way to put a foot in the Amiga fanatics' mouth who kept claiming PC can't do smoothly scrolling 2D platformers like some silly Zool 1-2 or James Pond...

but still, Jazz the Jackrabbit tried to be cooler than it really was. It reminded of that skating dog in The Simpsons. I even disliked the "cool" tracker music in Jazz.

Buut, I've seen worse games, of course. But even with their odd controls, I found e.g. the Keen games more charming.

Charon121: OK, I'll check it out after I finish Super Panda Adventures. Got it from Desura yesterday; enjoying it quite a bit!
Awesome game but I'm stuck on the last boss. He's INSANELY hard.
