Antimateria: But at least Gabriel has Tim Curry. Couple days ago my childhood traumas were acting up again and there was Tim Curry in "IT", you know, that clown.. ^^

JudasIscariot: While Tim Curry is quite awesome, I am not sure I find his Southern accent convincing :D (IIRC, he played Gabriel Knight...)
His voice in GK1 was pretty good, but in GK3 it was a little over the top.

In GK1 he was OK but I swear there was something missing in that accent...I can't put my finger on it and maybe I am just being pedantic :D.

I'd recommend Sanitarium, but that's $10 unfortunately.

4saken21: I have Myst already.
Do You have Riven also? If not (and You like/d Myst) - get that!
Pretty much can't go wrong with anything else though, The Last Express, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword, all greats.
If You're into FMV at all, definitely try Spycraft (I'd also recommend Phantasmagoria 2, but that's not exactly a popular opinion, so I won't).
At that price I'd also recommend Broken Sword 1, with Gabriel Knight 1 being a close second place.

Or if you want something humorous you might go for Simon the Sorcerer (or the Feeble Files, if you already have the Simon games)
