I would love to play Police Quest again. I really loved Police Quest 4. Any hope to see it on GOG someday ?
I'm sure it will come someday.
The retail collection is quite cheap and there is a patch that makes them run wonderfully.
Even if they did come to GOG (and they most likely will) it's pretty clear they won't be as cheap as the retail collection.

It always frustrated me when I was younger, because it required a rudimentary knowledge of US laws and law enforcement.
Police Quest UK would have been quite different!

Yeah, the only one I like is PQ4 for that reason, as well as it being just more entertaining story and dialogue wise.

Yeap, same waiting for PQ4.
You can play the first one http://sarien.net/ for free.
I remember in the first game, "administer field sobriety test" was an actual command. Though I think you could use an easier alternative as well.
I really loved PQ1. It just had tons of atmosphere and it felt really authentic. I wish someone would take a long look at that game, figure out what exactly was so good about it, and making a similar title today. Maybe, just maybe, that LA Noire will do something similar.
Anyway, would love for the series to show up here, if only because it's one of those classic franchises that just plain needs to be on a site called "good old games" in the first place. Though I'm not too happy about how the Space Quest-series wound up here (in two separate, expensive packs), so I hope they can find another solution.
I would hope that the PQ games would be in one pack, since there are only four.
Perhaps we'll get the SWAT games too? I always liked SWAT 2...
I actually nabbed an older PQ collection online a few months ago since most of VU's collections leave out the AGI version of the first title.
Idiots.

Not to bring that debate back again, but I continue to not understand how $20 total for all six games is overpriced. If they released them individually they would be $6 a piece.
Still thrilled about picking up the KQ series for $5 from D2D. That was an awesome deal.

I originally thought the game was stupidly hard but I didn't have the manual at the time (the PQ series costs a lot to buy) and then I discovered that the manual gave a lot of directions. Still, the game was a bit anal at first - in typical Sierra fashion, you'd often get punished for forgetting about the smallest of things - often things you assumed your character did without your help. Imagine playing an adventure game where you got to leave your house, then come back and find the place looted because you didn't lock your front door - THAT is how bad Sierra was.
Look on the homepage for the wishlist.

Hell yes! The original SWAT was an interesting experiment in then-new CD-rom technology but it ultimately failed as a game. SWAT2 was a major improvement and very much fun to play. I never played SWAT3, but Spoony (the guy who did the infamous Phantasmagoria 2 LP) recorded his playthrough of SWAT4 which is very entertaining. I've been meaning to check those two out.

I did the same recently, I also bought the original Leisure Suit Larry collection. I don't understand what VU was thinking, not putting those AGI games in their collections.
