Site had a countdown then a list of coordinates. Anyone live near any of em that visits GOG?

Some channers are saying this is related but I dunno as I haven't followed this from the start:

Nope, several of them are literally on the other side of the world from me, probably in China.
EDIT: I take that back, apparently one of them is a short bus ride away from here. At least if Google maps is to be believed. I could probably go later today as I'm probably needing to go to the post office anyways.

EDIT2: And I could probably do a second one when I go to get my shots next week But, I have better things to do than to go to Queen Anne on something like this.

Some more info...apparently a group called Cicadia3310 is challenging people and this site is one link of many found so far. The coordinates are listed with the challenge to find their symbol(maybe the bug on the site?).

Apparently 3 of them are in Seattle and probably a couple others are elsewhere in western Washington.

If you look at all the steps so far(using coded messages on reddit, hiding messages in images in complex ways, etc) it seems this is a very challenging little "game" here.....I wonder what will be found at the locations? :\

The more I think about it I just can't shake the feeling that I've seen that symbol before in that basic location. Considering that it's a few blocks from a retro gaming shop and the post office I'll probably take a look, but I'm pretty sure that what I'll find is that logo spray painted on a bus stop or similar. I'm almost positive that I've seen it painted somewhere nearby.

There may very well be something else there, but who knows.

If you spot it take a pic if you can or at least see if anything is hidden nearby it.

That won't be a problem, IIRC there isn't really much opportunity to hide things there as the local shops don't like to encourage crime, but I do believe that there will be a purple moth stenciled somewhere around that location.

If my invitation letter comes today, I'll just do it when I send in my visa application as the post office is only a few blocks away. Otherwise it would probably be tomorrow. Not that this is really that big of a rush, but I have to get my visa stuff done ASAP and my as well just do this at the same time.
