Another player entering the fray: Joining as rooshandark8's teammate - is me, Norring. A dwarf of fine tastes in ale, unwieldy facial hair, and little love shown to any who dare disturb the peace in his workshop - save those few who've proven to be reliable friends (though an annoyed remark or three can easily be sent their way as well, no real harm meant though).

My overly long free write was in no way canon. It was merely me getting a feel for the character. Future posts of a paragraph or more will go through OP. ;P

+Suggestions for background relations - crew, techs/inventors who contributed to ship (skyship technology could originate from gnomes or such), traded with me for my "acquired" goods.

+Character update: Due to his formal education as an officer, Lee Tartoga can be very articulate and gentile however he typically takes on the personae of an ignorant gypsy. His mixed complexion allows him to flow from one group to another, even if both resent his other half.
I'll join up. Exile.

1: Warrior/Mage
2: Best friends with an Elven Swordmaster
3: Speaks rarely
4: Knows the art of Sword and Sorcery, but prefers Elemental Magic
5: Holds faith in The Lady Mystra, Goddess of Magic(Forgotten Realms Pantheon)
6: Works as Guild Master of the Black Ruin Merc. Guild.
7: Lives in the city
8: Weapon of choice: Long Sword or LongBow
9: Good at magic, and combat, not so good with social skills
10: MAGIC ALL THE WAY!

I'm an Elven Knight Magus btw. :)

Edit: Oh and if Stoic will have me, I'll be his Gnomes friend. :P

Eh, why the hell not.

Name: Rohan Murrolet (duh...)
Personality: Sadistic perfectionist lacking in people skills.
Race: Mixed; Half elf, half human.
Parents: Father was a game warden and mother was a thief.
Current location: A small wooden hovel located in a dark plot land surrounded by trees and thorny rose bushes.
Class: Scout (Mix of ranger and rogue)
Skills: Hunting, Tracking, Lockpicking, Stealth, Projectiles and Small Arms (Daggers, Dirks, etc), and Agility(Parkour, scaling, whatever you prefer to call it).
Weapons: A billao (Google it) kept sheathed aside the waist, two small pouches sheathed aside both thighs carrying throwing knives, a modified kris with a dirk attached to the lower end of the hilt, located on my back, and a small handheld crossbow kept on the other side of my waist along with bolts of various lengths and materials.
Religion: Agnostic
Height: 5'8
Build: Lean
Position on technology: Indifferent.
Position on magic: Indifferent but would rather not see it used.

There...took me 25 minutes.
Edit:
Back story: Rohan François Murrolet was born in the deep southern region of the continent to Maximilien Isidore Murrolet, a game warden specializing in black market trading of the rare southern Arid Eagle, and Marie Levée Murrolet, a renowned thief in the northern regions. At the age of 8, Rohan's father was killed in a battle between him and a pack of nomads that were fighting to protect one of the last Arid Eagles. Stricken with grief, Rohan began to shut himself off from the outside world, developing a deep hatred of others around him. He fled his home at the age of 9, breaking his mother's heart and eventually dying an old woman at the age of 68.
Rohan then found his way into a secluded forest home to thieves and all other sorts of scum and villainy. Building a small wooden shelter, Rohan would come to survive the harsh summer heatwaves and attacks by beasts that inhabited the woods. At the age of 17, he built his current home and began to lose his faith in the gods. He would then spend the next 6 years practicing his skills and clearing out all other traces of human life in the woods he inhabited. He is rarely seen outside his home and only ventures into towns to sell any goods he steals or furs he skins. His weapons are all handmade and of his own design. He is considered dangerous and many bounties have been placed on his head by the families of the thieves he murdered in cold blood.
Done...

Edit: Fuck, do I have to give a back story?
I can use you on my team,
And you wouldn't really need a backstory so i guess you can pm me for more details if your interested.

rooshandark8: Snippity
I'll wait to pick teams when the game starts :)
And I guess I can edit my post and add a back story.

No name? Just curious as it may help me a bit to at least know a first name or last name.....but it's ok for now, no rush.

Added you, btw there are no teams. Players can situate themselves into/alongside other's stories/etc if the other player allows or doesn't mind, but can leave on their own(temporarily or for longer, for some reason.) at any time as well.

I know, I know. I just want it all to flow together and add more and more as we go, after the basic stuff has been set in stone, so to speak.

As for crew/NPCs created at the start by other players, i'd rather not add too many NPCs per player to start with as it may mess up or make it hard for me to gel them together with other aspects of the roleplay.....etc.

How many would you have in mind? Maybe 2 total max crew and 2 other NPCs(fences/tech inventors/etc) to start with could be arranged.

There, bolded and underlined the name for you. Us working together was decided in private conversation, so that's at least the status to begin with (I cannot say what happens later).

You character added...nice and grimdark yet understandable(if one knew him and his past I mean) character.

Fantasysci5: It's okay, I can do a more detailed post after you set the scene. :)
Go ahead and make up some basic stuff like name/brief generic history...et al.

GameRager: snippity
Thanks. I have his name based of a French revolutionary (Check my old posts for his avatar) and well...Rohan...
EDIT:
Also, he isn't a thief despite what my post would make it sound like, he is more of a hunter that enjoys hunting...deadlier prey.

I'm not talking about NPC's. I was just giving people ideas if they wanted some background involvement with me. My crew is either dead or scattered to the wind so I can fit in anywhere I am needed.

We are starting to get quite a dark group here. Instead of a "party" we may be more of a "posse."

No Madonna, I said posse.
Well it seems like I am the only one out of "posse". Well this is going to be interesting.
