I haven't finished it yet, so I don't know everything about it, but I find that Precursors is what Star Control 4 would be if it were sometimes a first-person shooter written by the guys who did Wing Commander: Privateer and had that engine from the *amazing* and utterly underrated space game NEXUS: The Jupiter Incident.

I am, however, a fan of the quirky feel of Russian and former bloc countries' game developers. I love King's Bounty, Star Wolves, NEXUS, and such, so I'm a little biased in favor of these kinds of games.
thanks like those games you listed as well, think i will pick it up.
So did you buy it in the end? There's a lengthy discussion here; if it's still under a Pending order from last week's sale, I think you can still buy it.
