From the depths of first-person shooter history a legendary game arises, reborn to deliver yet another generation of gamers onto the pastures red with blood and guts! The title that succeeded in turning the 1994 holiday season into a trigger-happy fragtastic mayhem has been given a new lease on life and is on its way to our computer screens. Sporting top-notch modern graphics and animation it will also retain its original gory-but-funny spirit, skillfully catering both to our nostalgia and modern gaming needs. Yes, Rise of the Triad is coming to GOG.com, and pre-ordering today comes with special benefits!

Rise of the Triad has everything that made its predecessor so memorable, from zany weapons, through gory visuals, down to the frantic multi-player mayhem. Talking about multi-player, our DRM-free version will be mulitplayer-compatible with all other versions, so you'll get to go fragging your friends whatever their preferred game delivery system might be. While the game looks and feels very 2013, the developers went out of their way to recreate that special RotT feel. Just look!

Perfect game. Bonuses great.
Question to the devs:

As a game developer, how do you balance the needs of a new, emerging audience without displeasing your older fans, and how did this apply to this game development?
Hopefully We wont get the (AU) version which means the "No Violence Version" (Left 4 Dead 2 I'm looking at you Right now!)
Forgive me if this was asked already, but I didn't get my Blake Stone games right after purchase. Is that normal?

Thx a lot!Very kind!
Dammit GOG, I was hoping not to spend any more money on deals, but you managed to twist my arm into pre-ordering ROTT because it offers the Blake Stone games for free, and they're almost the price of the pre-order! Shame I bought the original ROTT early, but still, this is a cracking deal!
Question for the Developers:
Is the campaign setup and/or weapons different for each of the playable characters?
This is a question for the developers.

"Most of the irreverant humor in the original comes from the delightfully twisted mind of Tom Hall. Has he played the revival and/or offered input or comments?"
Any news on whether there will be a demo for this? The free preorder gifts make this a hell of a deal, but if the main game is not to my liking, I will feel particularly burned by that.
