GameRager: As long as you can space and sort easily why do you need more rows at the bottom? As you buy games it'll add more rows/spaces to accomodate.
It's not about rows at the bottom, it's about total numbers of free rows. At the moment you get maximum three free rows and so maximum 15 (3x5) free spaces. To have more free rows means also to have more free spaces.

As example, you bought one or two adventure games and want to expand your adventure area, the easiest way would be to put an empty row after this area. Also you want that you every row has only one genre inside, so you need more free spaces (0-4 for every genre).

Are you sure about that? I sorted My Games by "Games I have downloaded all bonus content from" on the bottom, and "Games I haven't" on top. The first time I sorted them that way, I put the games on the very bottom row, leaving three empty rows in between them. When I came back to the My Account page later, the page had automatically created two new empty rows on the bottom, for a grand total of sixteen rows of five games. At this point I re-arranged the bottom group of games by moving them up two rows, so that there were now four empty rows on the bottom. When I came back later after that, the page had automatically removed two of the four bottom empty rows.

In short, I think the My Games page just automatically appends two empty rows on the bottom, no matter how many you have.

And you're right. I didn't reload my account page. Tried it and stopped after I got 8 free rows ;-) Thanks for the info.

Unfortuantely with playing around the shelf and the autosorting my old manual sorting is gone and I need to redo it.

Set shelf to manual derp. :)

Yeah, but when you change to alphabetic sorting and then move a game, your old manual order is gone and you have a new one ;-)

So, another wish, let us save different shelf orders.

You mean, like a "cloud" for saving custom orderings? And then you can switch to "MyCustomManualOrder", and it will be in the manual order you last saved it?

Yes. Or a simple question if you just want keep your temporary manual order or reload your old manual order before you leave.

If you like manual sorting why take it off manual?

GameRager: f you like manual sorting why take it off manual?
Because I was playing around with the shelf and thought by using a standard setting my manual will be untouched. Think again.

It's not a big problem, no need to worry about. Maybe on a weekend I will redo my shelf, now knowing I can put some free rows in it

Lol, not to be mean but dude that's what always happens when you set most sorting stetings to auto. Manual then=LOST.

:)
Just get a box of beer and get at it.
I need some confirmation: so is it normal that after getting more games I can see "drag&drop slowdown" on "not modern" PC? I need to wait a "few seconds" to actually game box appear on my cursor and another "few seconds" to drop it... That makes any sorting so frustrating.... :/

Possibly poor coding when multiple boxes fill the shelves over a certain amount.

That's my experience with my 430 MHz Geode laptop. :)

Edit: Hmmm... a 1.5GHz Celeron M isn't too zippy either.

You mean when you zoom in with your browser and then move the boxes? Unfortunately yes. How bad this is depends on the render engine of your browser, so you can try a different one. But in the end the problem exists.

Maybe you should try to go back to normal zoom (ctrl+0) and then use the mousewheel for scrolling while holding the box. That's the fastest way for me to move the boxes.
