I've just bought the Sacred Ghost Bundle from the IndieGala store, but when I try to activate the key on Steam, Steam tells me the key was already activated by another account ... Is this a common issue with purchases from IndieGala? Or with Steam? I don't have much experience with neither of them, could I have done something wrong? What would you recommend me to do? I already sent an e-mail to the IndieGala store, but since it's the weekend and this is all new to me, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has had similar experiences and if they were able to resolve the issue with IndieGala or Steam. Fortunately I hardly didn't lose any money this time, but I also did it as a test and won't buy from them again, if it doesn't end well.

(Also, my apologies if this has been discussed countless times before.)

I bought Sacred for 0.99 there, and everything was fine.

Did you get the duplicate steam code, or what?

You need to contact IndieGala, you might need to get new keys.

It is not a issue with steam, it is the keys which are not correct.
As I said, I'm completely new to this and it doesn't appear very fool-proof and easy to understand, so it's possible I made a mistake. How do you go about getting your Steam key and activating it? I had to guess how it's done and used the key that I found for Sacred under "Serial Numbers" in my IndieGala account. Maybe that isn't the Steam code after all? But I have no idea where else to look for it ...

Yes, the key should be there, and it should work on steam. If it doesn't, your key wasn't generated properly and you got a key somebody else got already.

You have to contact them, there's no other way, sorry.

Okay, thanks. I already wrote to them, just wanted to make sure it's not my fault or anything.
They fuck up sometimes, just email their support, they should get you sorted.
Thanks to all three of you, all replies have been very helpful and reassuring!

EDIT:
They already replied to my e-mail and provided me with a working code, as predicted. So everything's resolved; even if their service might not be 100% reliable, at least their customer support seems to be. :)
