Anyone know who owns the IP of Darkseed series? Any plan on resurrecting this HR Giger classic while riding the hype of Alien prequel?

The hype is being exploited by COD clone "Colonial Marines", no publisher will throw money at a horror adventure game. Maybe we'll get some Kickstarter?

I would love to see more horror games.

Also, if any of you saw this and went "zomg, need!" You should easily get your fix from Phantasmagoria. That is unless you haven't already played it.

Still, I wish I could look back at HR Giger's artworks in Darkseed. That game had all spirituality that was Alien 1 movie, far more than any other Alien games out there.

Yeah, the artworks were great. But unfortunately, when I think about Darkseed, bugs and dead ends come to my mind as well. Played this game many years ago, but I still remember that I became frustrated very early in the game.

Should I give it another shot?

A Giger horror game would be very welcome. But yeah, you're more likely to get loads of crappy Alien games.

I remember I was very young playing Darkseed and his artworks scared the crap outta me and gave me nightmares lol
