kurcatovium: Vestin: Finally someone with similar opinion! Thanks for that...
Hey, i never said that i disagree with you. Just that i see the GoG's point, that's it.

(Say, official BBC channel, for example, sometimes fills the whole screen with it's tweets sent with interval of couple minutes, how can you make people notice your tweet among all that? Resend after a while and hope they notice. Although, i agree, EnigmaticT(if he's responsible for tweets) may be overdoing it slightly).

mishkamasya: Well, I've never subscribed to channel as spammy as BBC. That might be the point... But since I really want my twitter clen that will never happen :-)
No, not again. Rayman just got another promo tweet. Starting to be really funny. I suspect TheEnigmaticT (or whomever) he knows about this thread and that he's tweeting just to piss me off :-)

Even if asked, he would blame gnomes anyway ;)

Delixe: GOG uses Twitter for advertising? Wow it's not like anyone else does it. Twitter is a tool and people use it. Follow or don't follow the choice is yours.

AndrewC: Neah, their problem is with the fact that GOG tweets the same thing multiple times over a period of time.
We're starting a new Twitter strategy, and the transition's been a bit rough. When things settle down you'll see that we're tweeting a variety of content, albeit on a release schedule tailored to out various top markets.

I don't have any issues with that, as I said, most of your tweets get buried in the timeline in my case because of all the people I follow. You're on the GOG user list I maintain and TweetDeck allows me to keep a closer eye on you guys and update stuff on IRC as fast as possible.

By their I meant the original poster and the ones sharing his opinion.

"GOG don’t seem to quite get Twitter – they seem to think the idea is to repeat the same tweet over and over until the letters are burned into the surface of your retina like a broken CRT monitor, forgetting that people don’t miss a tweet just because they’re not reading at the second it appears" - I think RPS is onto something ;P. Hope the new strategy surfaces soon.

Vestin: snip
Well, to be fair RPS is wrong a lot.

I don't get what you're saying.
But it doesn't matter a lot since GOG tweets are 2/3 of my current twitter timeline. Nice try!

+1 for the OP.
Well, I thought there was some progress in this lately, but no... there wasn't. Again, both SWAT3 and Spellforce 2 has four tweets just to piss me off :-D

Why? I know one tweet is easy to miss, but two should be more than enough. Or do you think we're so submissive to fall into your talks and to suddenly run for purchase with brainwashed mind?
