Thanks for the giveaway, +1

A paragraph about a cool game? I bought Desperados Wanted Dead or Alive, but I haven't been able to play it much because I am playing other games. I bought it because it I liked its reviews and gameplay videos:

If you like games with tactics and strategy elements, this game might be appealing to you as well :)

Oh, and happy anniversary :p

RadonGOG: Well, this could only be counted if you´d actually post a little paragraph...
Ooopsie. Alright. Don't know if it counts as 'lesser known on GoG' but it's definitely one of the lesser known games from a very well known series:

Worlds of Ultima - Martian Dreams

This game, using the engine of Ultima 6, is a kind of parallel / semi-canon reality to the usual Ultimas. You play the same person that regularly is summoned by Lord British to Britannia, becoming the Avatar there. Only this time it's not Lord British (aka. Richard Garriott) who does the summoning but Warren Spector (as himself). And you are not going to Britannia, but back in time to the Gaslight-epoch and then onward to Mars. In a shell fired from a giant Jules Verne like cannon.
Of course Mars is already settled (someone had to build those Mars canals after all) and you experience lots of adventures there along with many well known persons from the gaslight period. Like Nikola Tesla, Sigmund Freud and many more.
Combat (and the entire game) is turn based, you need to watch your oxygen supply and there are lots of things to do. True, graphics and controls are a bit dated, but it still plays OK. And while it somehow lacks the usual 'traveling through a living, magical world called Britannia' charm, it still is a very good old roleplaying game in an unusual setting. Considering that it is available for free on GoG I can only suggest: get it and try it out. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I wasn't going to enter this one, but almost 24 hours with no entrants?
I already have Psychonauts, so if someone does arrive that wants all 3, please disqualify me.

EDIT:
Just discovered that I have all 3 of these!
Not entirely sure when that happened!!

Battle Isle: Incubation
This is the first turn based squad based game I played.
Absolutely love it.
Trying to make sure that the right men get the right upgrades & weapons is as much a game as the actual levels.
A bit strange how connected you get to each soldier, cheering them on & mourning their passing.
I did struggle somewhat with some of the levels.
The difficulty spikes can really catch you out.
You have to play the game through twice, so that you are prepared for what's coming....
Don't let that put you off though, it is a great game.

thanks for the give away im in.

as for a paragraph on a game

I really enjoyed seven kingdoms 2. I started playing the game years ago (well before gog). While its single player campaign is crap, I really enjoyed single player single maps. I remember buying a group of spies than buying out all my opponents commanders. I would then at the same time have all those commanders turn over control to me shattering my opponents empire. I would then send it high level troops to put down the survivors.Sadly this made the game way to easy. The fryhtans added another fun shift in game play. I must admit I was never very good as them but I enjoyed watching mass wars between humans and fryhtan. I also remember playing map editor. I would put severial opponents surrounded by these strange replicating plant monster things. I would than help these kingdoms by generating items and heros for them. I was always curious which would survive. It provided hours of entertainment for me in my youth. I bought this game on gog when I forgot where I put my copy, only to find it the next day... still totally worth it.
Thanks for your generosity RadonGOG, and happy anniversary! :)
(Not in, but +1 for you! ^_^)

Happy GOGoversary! In for Batman! Oh, wait, he's not in... Out, then ;)

I always barely miss out on your Solve This and Win puzzles, which I sorely regret, but they also always provide a bit of post-facto entertainment, so thanks for these :-)
