high rated
So in one of the weirdest cross-promotion deals I've seen, I received a Ubisoft game code in a pack of deodorant and shower gel I received for Xmas. It can be used to get a free copy of one of the following:
- Rayman Origins
- Trackmania 2
- Tin Tin
- Call of Juarez: The Cartel
- Clash of Heroes
- Shoot Many Robots
I already have Rayman Origins (great game) and I'm not interested in the others so I figured I'd let someone else try Rayman (or another game if you'd prefer).
Basically you go here.
Pick one of the six games, add to cart, enter promo code (which I'll send to the winner), and you get the game on Uplay. That might turn some people off, but personally I got Uplay for Far Cry 3 and I don't mind it. Its offline mode seems to work better than Steam's, if nothing else.
To enter, simply tell me what your favourite game from the 1990s is, and what's so great about it. I'll pick a winner using random.org in six hours or so (I'll delay it to tomorrow if not many people enter).
Note: I believe this code only works in Australia and NZ. It doesn't specifically say so anywhere but it's very light on the terms and conditions. I tried to view the site using a few proxies in other countries and it didn't work. You can enter anyway, but if the above link doesn't load a page saying "Download one of these games for free with your promotional code! ", it's probably not worth your time.
