Neobr10: There are quite a few things to forgive them for. First, they completely killed Mega Man franchise after its original creator left, they canceled Megaman Legends 3, which fans have been asking for a very long time, and they canceled that Megaman Universe (an online title, MMO like). They totally screwed up RE franchise as well, RE5 was a joke compared to the previous games. And then they release that shitty RE Mercenaries 3D charging you 40 dollars for almost no content at all.
Agree to an extent, I liked Resi 5 but there was a lot missing from it. The game especially got annoying at the end if you didnt happen to have somebody with you (Gah NO! DONT RUN INTO THE LICKER. Damn you!). Agreed with RE Mercenaries though.
Megaman-wise ive never been a fan of the series but they have been pulling the rug out from their fans a lot, not helped by Ono trolling them at every opportunity.
Neobr10: Did i mention they fucked up Lost Planet too? Yep, Lost PLanet 2 killed the franchise. Oh, and Dead Rising 2? They screwed that up as well by handing over development to another studio. Do you expect anything good from RE Operation RC? Well i dont, Slant 6 is making it, they were the ones that made the terrible SOCOM Confrontation.
Now I disagree with most of this. Lost Planet 2 I loved playing, a lot more than I ever did the first game, the big issue was that barely anyone bought it killing it quickly. Dead Rising 2 was also a MASSIVE improvement over the first with better weapons, better boss battles (who actually have proper strategies to beat them rather than whack a few times, go glug orange juice). The survivor AI also was boosted tenfold so they could actually fend off zombies themselves for once.
Neobr10: Ahhh i almost forgot. They also like to rip off custommers on their fighting games. Yep, they release a new edition every year just to add a few characters and maps. But thats nowhere near as ridiculos as SF3 (i think its SF3, i dont remember exactly) on PSN and Live, where they charge you just for a costume with a different color. And you know the best part about it? Only you can see it, when youre playing online, no one you see your new outfit unless they own the DLC too.
Again agreed but this isnt exactly a new practice by Capcom (How many versions of SFII have thier been?). I dont see your issue with people not seeing your own colours, that doesnt really bother me, just as long as I can see it, its all a-okay.
Neobr10: Yeah, they really did it on Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, it had an always on DRM on PS3, i had forgotten about that. And i forgot to mention they killed Bionic Commando franchise too.
To be fair the Bionic Commando franchise had been dead for a while beforehand with no games between its original release and the newer ones. Not even any appearances in crossover titles too until recently (No appearance in any MvC game until MvC3 now)
