While I don't mind, staff asked us nicely not to because of SEO as it paints bad image of the company. Being as liberal as it gets with moderation, allowing us to do many things that would get us instabanned on some other places, and they don't even have the word filter, it would be nice if we honored their request.

Well breaking rules over and complaining about them did work on Gamefaqs quite often. The difference being that mods at Gamefaqs can be douches that deserve it and most of those rules that aren't enforced anymore where stupid to begin with.

and before I retire for the night, I agree with IronStar on this one. I've been booted from a lot of forums for stuff that I am free to do it here and if all they ask is to keep our "colorful metaphores" inside the thread then I think we should honor that.

Of course if you want to shock people with a thread title you can do so without profanity. Just call it "My Dixie Wrecked" or "Have you seen Mike Hawk?" That should work!

The mods don't ask much from us, so I really don't think that cursewords should be used in a thread title. If I recall correctly I think TheEnigmaticT even said we can cuss as much as we want within reason in the thread as long as it is not done in the title. And besides, a creative innuendo gets more chuckles from me than a fuck, damn or shit. It doesn't take many brain cells to spew out profanity.
