Gamersgate's sales are about to end. I need a good $2-$4 adventure game or two to add to my cart, to take advantage of the 4 for 3 sales. Right now I have Dark Fall Lost Souls and Darkness Within 1 and 2 in the cart. Any other good recommendations from there that fall within the price range?

Do you consider Lara Croft Guardian of Light as adventure game? I think at $3.74 is quite cheap.

Pretty sure Alter Ego sucks, actually. Shame.

Of course I am pretty damn picky with PnC games lately, because most of them are boring as shit to me. Gemini Rue and Lost Horizon are the best ones I have played lately.

Bad choice op, bad choice. Whispered World and The New Beginning are far better games :P

I have two recomendation

*Machinarium is an interesting adventure with more puzzles than story. Great art.

*Ben there Dan that // Time Gentleman Please. These are Lucas Arts style. Funny with lots of dialogue. I really like the first part because I wasn't expecting anything.

I wonder if Gamersgate's "Within 2 weeks" refund policy works for this case :X

Bah. Oh well. Let's see if I'll enjoy the game. I really wanted to get A New Beginning but it was (and still is) beyond my budget. I just needed to snag one more adventure game to fill up the basket for the 4 for 3 deal.

It may be too late, but definitely take a look at the Sam and Max games. They're pretty damn funny.
