junker154: Just a good RPG with an open world, where you kill monsters, find good loot and level up. I'm open for anything.

PetrusOctavianus: You just described the Might and Magic games.
not exacly he stated he prefered rpg with open world without dealing a party , as far i know , in the M&M serie you mustt deal with a party , but i admit it's not the D&D rules set , so less complicated. ;)

Can't believe no-one's mentioned The Witcher games yet - get on message, people!
I also like Fable, its a bit light but it was a nice place to hang out in when I was feeling down
I'm also managing to enjoy TES1: Arena but that's probably a bit to old school for most, free though so you could give it a try, TES 2: Daggerfall is free too and supposedly better

I bought Risen dirt cheap on steam. Vampire the Masquerade is not really a game that I would like due to the setting, I really dislike Vampires.

I played the Witcher 1 and never bothered with the sequel because my pc can't handle it. I played Fable years ago and I'm also a vivid fan of Might and Magic, I played them a lot. I also completed Divinity several times.

Thanks anyway, I hope that Risen 1 was a good investement.

I feel like I played most of the games out there, I played most of the suggested games. Thanks anyway! Keep em coming.
It's incredibly silly but you might like PA's Rainslick Precipice of Darkness 1 and 2. Very, very shallow and silly but a good way to burn some hours.

It's a little bit lighter on the RPG side than other suggestions, but Borderlands 2 can be great fun for all the reasons you just said.

I know you said you're looking for more graphical games, but the Eschalon series is fantastic, and not party based.

Din's Curse is also on sale for $2.50 as Gamersgate: http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-DCPC/dins-curse . It's a truly fantastic take on its genre.
I will have a look at Eschalon, it seems really neat. Also I played Borderlands 1 with a friend and it was neat at first but got boring really fast, so I'm not to keen to get the sequel. I'm mainly looking for singeplayer games and BL is really boring alone.
Gothic 2 is great. the difficulty is unfair, but there's a huge world for you to explore. you should try at least.
How about Two Worlds 1? Don't trust the pro reviews, the game has had a lot of fixing and is a different experience now.

Also: the Divinity series?
...Cube World? Heh, only in alpha but the adventure never ends.
Honestly, Two Worlds 1 is rubbish.

I think I'm buying Eschalon book 1, it's available for 2 bucks at the steam store. Looks really neat.

junker154: I already played Kingdoms of Amalur. I don't like Dragon Age or Neverwinter Nights that much because of the party system. I prefer to control one single character instead of a whole group.
For what it's worth I completed Neverwinter Nights without ever having more than just one character. In NWN1 the NPCs are completely optional. NWN2 however they are required.
I played Eschalon Book 1 for a few hours now and I have to say that it's exactly the type of game that I was looking for, thanks for the great recommendation.
Haven't played it myself, but Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning sounds like it could fit the bill, and many seem to really like it.

Glad to hear it! Those games were obviously labours of love, and so much fun. Enjoy!
