The chronicle of the Third Era is yours to write!

Age of Wonders III, the long-anticipated continuation to the fan-favorite, award-winning strategy series, set in a robust and beautiful world that becomes the scene for diverse, complex, and engaging gameplay, is available for pre-orders on GOG.com. Depending on your location you'll be charged $39.99 or the USD equivalent of £29.99, or €39.99. An extended Age of Wonders III - Deluxe Edition, featuring a full soundtrack and the Dragon's Throne standalone scenario, is available for $44.99, £34.99, or €39.99.

Imagine! Empires rising and falling before your very eyes, led to victory or defeat by heroes of legend so powerful that they appear to be titans in the eyes of mortals. Sorcerers harness the arcane powers to bend the rules of the world around them. Theocrats twist the wills of their followers with the holy aura bestowed upon them by their deities for their zealous service. Rogues rule the shadows, taking any chance to strike and win before their foes even realize there is a war to fight. Warlords earn the loyalty of their legions by the glory gained in the many battles they emerged from, victorious. Archdruids become one with nature, and the land itself rushes to their aid. Dreadnoughts rely on the art of engineering to construct their unstoppable artificial armies. All those powers, all of their miraculous exploits, all of their desires, all thrown into one realm of war. This shall truly be an age of wonders!

With Age of Wonders III, Triumph Studios aims to set new standards not only for the acclaimed Age of Wonders series, but also for the turn-based strategy genre itself. Taking advantage of all the modern gaming bells and whistles, the title will deliver an impressive level of complexity in gameplay and an immersive, lush, and diverse gameworld that can become your own for hundreds of hours. With the ability to choose one of the six leader classes, you'll be able to custom-tailor your empire--and by extension your experience with the game--to your personal gameplay style, so you can enjoy the extensive campaign the game offers in any way you like. You'll be leading into battle armies recruited from within six humanoid races as well as some fantastic creatures and mythical monsters. The turn-based tactical combat itself will prove to be a challenge for the most seasoned of strategy gamers but also scalable enough for beginners to enjoy. With over 50 location types to explore and exploit, hundreds of abilities to master for tactical and strategic advantage over your foes, visually stunning presentation, and a smart random scenario generator providing virtually limitless replayability, this title can become the only turn-based strategy game you'll need for many years to come!

Get Age of Wonders III, for only $39.99 or the USD equivalent of £29.99, or €39.99 on GOG.com (or opt in for the splendid Age of Wonders III - Deluxe Edition), and enter the fantastic realm of power and dominion, which will consume you whole.

Hey! We're very sorry for the initial problems, guys! We had to do a lot of switching between different versions offered on the site and apparently we've driven some server gremlins out of their burrows in the process. All should be fine in a couple of minutes, and if you have trouble accessing your content, please do try to refresh your account.
Hi all,

The installers include all of the languages, in case you were wondering. :)

Wurzelkraft: Obviously working now but why did it change from the digital box art to the regular one? Clicking on the store page says I own the regular edition and not the deluxe edition though I'm able to download the dlcs and the soundtracks.
edit: This is as designed regarding the cover. As long as you have access to two DLCs, you have the Deluxe Edition.

Zoidberg: Just out of curiosity: is it possible to easily get the english voiceovers with all the texts in another language?
All I saw was a drop down menu in the Options section of the game launcher that listed all the languages. I did not see any options to mix and match. Sorry :(

cyboff: But store page still shows it wrong - like I own regular version instead of deluxe...
Do you have 3 links (one for the main installer and 2 for the DLC) ?

cyboff: yes, I have, everything looks "deluxe" from content point of view, but cover and name in shelf and "own/buy" buttons in store changed...
Yes, that's as-designed as of right now. Sorry for the confusion :/

cyboff: Not the best design, IMHO :D Your support teammates have to be very glad :D
Yes, well.....*Jedi mind trick* * Men in Black flash* you see nothing wrong with this picture :P

(Seriously, I hear what you are saying, though)

tfishell: Just to be clear, this is not the Enigmatic Hint, right? Since everyone knew it would be released this week.
No, it's not so you guys may continue guessing :)
avatar
Piranjade: Huh? I just played offline in hotseat with my hubby for a few rounds and didn't notice any DRM?
avatar
Silverhawk170485: I think he means the serial number for multiplayer, but that doesn't bother me.
We've always had serial numbers for multi-player and only multi-player. If the number was required to play single player offline, then yes, that would be considered DRM and the game would not be here.

JudasIscariot: No, it's not so you guys may continue guessing :)

triock: So, still no right answer?
I don't know, you tell me :P

triock: Well, I think you would't have a problem to say no, so I believe that the right answer was already posted. :p
Believe what you wish :)

I don't know :)

vulchor: GOG changed my purchase from Deluxe Edition to Standard Edition! Has this happened to anyone else? I had preordered the deluxe edition, it showed that way on my shelf until today, when it changed from Deluxe to Standard. Now I can't download the soundtracks, but I still was able to download the Dragon's Throne and Elven Resurgence scenarios DLCs.

Again, anyone else have this problem? I did submit a ticket to support, but I'm curious to see if this is a widespread problem
The only thing that really changed was just the cover for the main game. If you have two or three installer links (1 main installer and 2 DLC installers if you pre-ordered and 1 main installer,1 DLC installer if you just recently purchased the Deluxe Edition) along with the OST and other goodies then you have the Deluxe Edition :)

vulchor: Thanks Judas. I should have read ahead, sorry to make you answer the same thing again. And yeah, I can download the soundtracks after I refreshed my account. So all is good, except it's a little scary when the game card says you don't own something that you own.
No worries, I'd rather answer several times if it helps to dispel any confusion :)

JamesBond007: Although I'm not interested in purchasing this game. I'm smart enough to do that. GOG REGIONAL PRICING BYPASSED!

Is someone interested in buying Age of Wonders 3 for $19,99 in all regions? Send me a PM for details.
Well, why don't you tell everyone right here how to go about and do that? It would certainly save you the trouble of having to answer all of those inquisitive PMs individually....

Gaunathor: I've got a similar problem. I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, and on the shelf everything is okay. DLC, music, it's all there. However, if I go to the storepage, it says, that I only have the regular edition.
Yes, I know. It's a side effect of making a new Deluxe Edition to include the the new DLC and then moving the other one (the pre-order version with the Elven scenario) out of circulation. Sorry for the confusion :(

In short, you have everything, no need to re-buy anything.
