Are you hurt? Because you apparently just fell from the sky. Um, my place or your's, angel?

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, a collection of six adventures that will have you looking for love (in all the wrong places), is available on GOG.com, for only $9.99.

Hey, who is a babe like you doing in a place like this? The correct answer is Larry, by the way. Larry Laffer. Aroused to meet you. I have to confess something: I lost my virginity. Can I have yours? You know, I'm a man, you're a woman--just do the math. By the way, those are very nice legs. What time do they open? Seriously, I'm not Fred Flintstone, but I can make your bed rock. Oh, come on! I'm doing you a favor. I know people who know people who could get you in touch with people who can get you into the movie industry. That's right babe, daddy can make you a star! So, where are we going, your place? What do you mean "stop following you"? This wouldn't be much of a date if I did. What are you talking about, what restraining order? Oh yeah, like that could ever get in the way of true love! You're breaking my heart. Seriously, I will never recover from such loss. Damn. Another one gone. And she was like a solid five. Maybe even a slightly outdated six. Oh, hi! Who is a babe like you doing in a place like this?

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses! is your first exclusive chance to play the long lost Leisure Suit Larry 4: The Lost Floppies! Not. Just kidding, the infamous floppies are still missing, and the fourth game of the series remains Al Lowe's sweet mystery. The package, however, includes the following classic adventure games from the chronicles of the wannabe notorious womanizer, Larry Laffer:
-Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (both the original and the VGA version!)
-Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking For Love (In Several Wrong Places)
-Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals!
-Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work!
-Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up Or Slip Out
But that's not all. From GOG.com, the company that likes it cheap and unprotected, you would expect something extra, now wouldn't you? Especially with our milestone 500th release. Something that would make you blush (with excitement). That's why, with the Larry games' collection we give you its spiritual (if that word is even remotely appropriate here) predecessor:
-Softporn Adventure

Are you ready for the ultimate conquest? Don't forget to use your breath spray to feel fresh, minty, and attractive as you take part in Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, for only $9.99.

Darling_Jimmy: The Laffer Utilities would make a nice bonus. You can get it for free from Al Lowe's site, here:

Actually, looking through that list, any of those games would be cool as extras on GOG or as free releases. I realize I could just download them, but it sure would be cool to have them on my shelf :)

trebor8273: i must be the only one who never liked these games, don't get me wrong i love adventure games but never like these games, really think gog could of chosen something better for there 500th game.

But for all of those who enjoy these games enjoy.
No, you're definitely not the only one. But, you can't please everyone.
Great release, especially since the original (my favourite) and the remake are included.

But release 500, really gog? I'm sure Al would had preferred a much earlier release ;-)

I hated the games :)

But, no real complaints from me. I'm still wading thru my huge backlog including the awesome games i bought from GOG's Christmas sale, so it's only a minor disappointment.

That's the great thing with GOG. You don't like one game, another one is coming along soon!

Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust
Yes, I'd like to see these two here like I'd like to see myself infected with cholera.

Exactly. There are much better uses for GoG's time and efforts.
Come on weekend promo. :D

keeveek: This is AMAZING!

I hope Larry 7 is going to be a separate relase too, right?! RIGHT?! :D
It's gotta be pretty likely at this point, but remember, it could take anywhere from a week to... how long was the gap between Sands of Time and Warrior Within?
Holy Mother of God. I remember reading some statement from Al Lowe that sounded lile there's no chance these games will ever be re-released due to some complicated legal stuff (apparently his new company owns the rights to the franchise but not to the content of the earlier games). I am hugely impressed. Just recently I found my German retail discs of Larry 6 and 7, thought I'd never get a chance to play the earlier titles legally (or the English versions of the last two games, for that matter). I have to say, I am hugely impressed and very happy with this release. Congrats to GOG for not just releasing some true classics but also big thanks for providing the whole friggin' series for only $9,99! Not an instabuy because I can't afford it right now, but this just went to the top row of my wishlist.

Edit: Ah shit, just noticed that Larry 7 is not included. Dang. But guess there's hope for it being released soon, right? :D

Right. I also feel that this is a bit -meh- for a 500-th release. And it's not worth 10$ for me. But a lot of others seem to be thrilled, so I'm happy for them. And perhaps I'll pick it up one day in some sale.

I both love you guys and hate your timing! I love you for bringing these games that I have waited > 2 years for and hate for timing it when I won't be able to afford them for months :/

Such an awesome release though, you guys ROCK!

HOLY FUCK FRIED CHICKEN IN YOUR TURD YES!!

That is all.
Bought and downloaded, time to start adding them to my "games finished in 2013" list.
Excellent choice for the 500th game(s compilation)!
