New releases, free games, several promos -- is it Christmas again already? Boy, sure feels like this year passed by quickly.

Anyhow, this one looks interesting. The potentially short play-time has me concerned, but since just about everyone here seems to like the game, I think I'll give it a shot. I've enjoyed Spelunky, so I guess you could say I dig this kind of game. ( Hurr. )

For those that played the 3DS version, does the game make good use of the 3D effect? I will probably get a 3DS eventually so wondering if its worth getting that version over PC version.

oh come on, I just bought this on humble a few days ago. because I didn't expect it to come here. We really need to show 'coming soon' games clearer, otherwise how is anyone supposed to know what's coming here in a few days time?

Not sure about your definition of "shovelware", but I've played for an hour or two now and have to say it's a very well-made and polished game. Can't say anything about the game length at this point, but at the current discounted price it seems like a fair deal.

I'm with you. I grabbed Steamworld Dig off Humble Store (DRM-free +Steam key) earlier this week. My brother will probably get it of GOG.
