RPG heroes fight in real time-strategy.

Warlords Battlecry, the real time strategy game that includes many role-playing elements to build a truly captivating fantasy war saga, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Barbarians, High Elves, Humans, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Minotaurs, Wood Elves, and the Undead--they all want the tears. Navarre, the white tear, and Lucifus, the red tear--these are the stones all want to posses. War is consuming the world, for those who have the tears gain the ability to give life, or give death. Choose your side, choose the path, and become the savior or doom of your world.

Warlords Battlecry is a great RTS/RPG mix that takes what's best from Warcraft II and Heroes of Might and Magic series, and adds it to the high-fantasy world of turn-base Warlords games. The game was created by Steve Fawkner, who not only committed to the gaming world by making Warlords and Warlords Battlecry series, but also by coining the term "role-playing strategy" in 2000 when the first game in WBC series was released--the very game you can get now on GOG.com with the soundtrack, game manual, and wallpapers.

Warlords Battlecry, the original "role-playing strategy" is available now on GOG.com for only $5.99.
Hell yes! Love this series... it's about time the 1 & 2 made it here.
Being in love with RTSes, one of the deepest genre of games, i love warlords Battlecry 3. It has it's unique touches which were afterwards perfected and better advertised in Warcraft 3. Still it has many things that sets it apart from that one.

Not having played the first one in the series, this is a must for me, but not now, too many games to handle. Wishlisted.

I also vote for original Warlords (that are great classics too), but i don't want the Battlecry series to be overlooked. It has definately polished and deep mechanics, (don't know about the balance, becouse i haven't played enough to be competitive, but on my level of skill it's great). I don't know why they weren't popular, probably becouse of the lack of financial backing. They have a cult following supposedly though.

As GOG released two good RTS games now, I hope for some RTS promo soon, then my wallet would be helpless... or maybe strategy/rts promo so you can throw in King of Dragon Pass, so I can happily go broke.

Yay! :D
Not high on my wishlist(there are several games I'm behind on o.O) so I'll probably only buy this once it goes on sale.
something really needs to be done about reviews especially idiots like LiolKonst, god are you really that childish and pathetic?
Looks a nice game, wishlisted for now.
My gf has always hyped me with Warlords II, Id instabuy it.
+1 for original turn based series :)
Considering how many games I buy, I almost always wait for a sale. This is one of my few instabuys, along with Crusader No Remorse and Crusader No Regret.

Thanks GOG, every release day since you released Warlords Battlecry 3, I have hoped this would show up here! Is Warlords Battlecry 2 on its way soon?
Own the original warlords and warlords II and never really liked them back in the 90s.

The same with these newer incarnations.

Sorry.
Ever since I joined Gog and saw that WBCIII (the worst in the series I think) was available, I've been waiting for the other two. Thank You!
Great addition to the GOG library.

I've always loved the WB-series, though I don't really remember which one of them I liked the most. I'll buy it within a few days (along with two or three other recent releases).
Loved to play this game...it has great and long campaigns...good choice GOG!
We get these, but not Darklords Rising.

Sigh.
Awesome. Battlecry 3 is one of my all-time favorites; I'll have to get this some day.
