A game I'd like to get if GOG added it would be: Detroit by Impressions Software.
never heard of it. do you play as a crack dealer?
It's on Abandonia, but it would be nice if GOG could get it legally. (We have other Impressions games here.) The game has been well-accepted there, so I assume many people consider it a good old game.
Hmm, it could be possible.
They went bankrupt so GOG could buyout them and sell it here.

For 5.99, who wouldn't want his own DRM-free copy of Detroit?

Right. The other Impressions games are all 9.99, but both come with their expansions. 5.99 is a much better price for this title, especially given that it's several years old than Pharaoh or Zeus.
vote for it in the community wishlist.
You could probably buy the city of Detroit nowadays for 5.99.

I´m not sure if it comes with DRM or not though.

HA. I vote for letting nature take it back. Make it a national park.

Lol!
It would probably go well in a bundle with Air Bucks (also by Impressions), as Air Bucks was essentially the same game, but the aim was to run an airline instead of a car manufacturer.
is there a difference between amiga and dos version?

Detroit + Air Bucks. That's probably a better deal for 5.99, similar to Wizardry 6+7. (Hard to justify 9.99 for DOSBox titles, unless it's 3 or more.)

From what I've gathered here over the years, it's usually safe to assume that Amiga versions have better graphics and sound quality. Licensing issues continue to hold GOG back from releasing Amiga games, though.

Not in this particular case. If I recall, the Amiga version of Detroit had slightly better audio (nothing unusual there). The Amiga version also had two versions (one compatible with the ECS chipset for the A500, one for the AGA chipset with better graphics for the A1200), and the PC version used 256-colour graphics just like the AGA version.
