Great find!
I was always a bit reluctant to get it on GOG because of the price, but now I can't miss this opportunity!

Garugo: I contacted Humble support and, although they weren't able to switch my order, they did give me a refund so I could purchase the right one. Haven't heard back from the Retro City people yet, though, and I contacted them about an hour earlier.
How long did it take you to hear back from Humble? I made the same mistake as you did, and as I'm sure 99% of people wanting a GOG version that haven't read this thread yet will, because it is so buried and unintuitive. I want to make sure that the sale is still going on when they refund my purchase.

Garugo: Yep, the Humble Store key you get is only for the DRM-free download and either a Steam key or GOG key, depending on what you purchased. No soundtrack or other bonus content is available from the key/download page.
Wait, the GOG key doesn't add the game to your shelf? You don't get access to the GOG bonus content?

You get a GOG key and can redeem it here. It does add it on the shelf and you get all the extras like any other GOG game.

Also bought from the dev website, and it shows up on my shelf. Bonus content included.

Okay, good. I must have misunderstood what Garugo meant when he said there is no bonus content.

Update:
Surprisingly, VBlank software responded to me first. The rep from them said that he is unable to switch versions for me =( I'm hoping to hear back from Humble soon about a refund.

tinyE: If you grew up with an NES you NEED this game. If not it may not be very good for you.
I know yeah. The game was running funny so I decided to blow on my laptop to fix it and I nearly choked to death!:D

Leroux: I assume the Humble Store version doesn't contain all the extras, or does it? So apart from account-based aspects, the choice between Steam and GOG is also a decision between achievements or bonus material?
I had a look on the dev website and I think the majority of the bonus material is available there although I am open to correction. But the GOG shelf is definitely the prettier one.:D

Oh man, there is a trip back in time. I still have my NES and 50 or so games in my closet but to be honest the roms are so much quicker.

I emailed them at about 3:40 and had the whole situation resolved by 4:10, so it was a very quick turnaround with them. Very pleased with their support.

Also, sorry, what I meant was that you don't have access to it via the Humble Store download page, all that's there is the DRM-free download and your GOG key. The GOG key can, obviously, be redeemed here and added to your game shelf with all of the extras noted on its GOG Game page.
Many thanks for the heads up! Honestly, there was something rather thrilling in buying a game on Humble and having it spit out a GOG code instead of a Steam one. I think that was the most fun that I've ever had in my life entering in a redemption code. Of course, now that I say that, it sounds rather pathetic... Oh well.

Seeing all my lovely games on my GOG shelf brings me joy too.
