I'll believe it when I'm downloading it. Oh, well. It's not like my pre-order has been going anywhere. I paid for it so long ago that it almost feels like I'll be getting a free game when it comes out.
Don't feel old. Most gamers of retro games are from the age of 20-40.
I would say 30 to 50, i don't think many 20 to 25 years olds remember the early to mid 90's too well so no chance of the 80's.

Some of us remember playing games in the 70's (barely)

lol i can't remember that far back, early 80's is the earliest i barely remember :)
While I certainly can't remember anything from the 80's, since I was born at the end of them, I do remember games from the 90's well. I started playing video games when I was just four. Having a father, who is really into games, helps.

Despite that, I don't have very much NES nostalgia since I had a Master System. Then again, the day I started to play NES games on emulators was over ten years ago...

Anyway, the game seem interesting, but I'm not sure whether I'll get it. I'll see how it turns out first.

joek0: Retro City Rampage finally has a release date. It will release next Tuesday on Oct 9. Buying straight from the devs site gives you a DRM Dree copy and a Steam or GOG key. Can't wait!
