Just found out a couple of hours ago about this. I know people die all the time but it's sad to see someone who worked hard for his career to od on drugs. He was one the few Hollywood actors who looked normal and wasn't into that being the best dressed or start in perfume, watch, cat food commercials actor.

Also his movies with PTA are all great and his last performance in The Master was epic. He will be missed I guess.

That's unfortunate he was quite talented.
Yeah, that stinks. I'll always think of him as the douche in "Scent of A Woman."

to clarify: he played a douche; I'm not saying he was :-)

yeah he was one the few actors who didn't get into acting cause of his looks, he did also played a lot of indie/low budget movies even though he could get millions of dollars for other movies. Gotta respect him for that.

haha yeah he was that spoiled, rich brat in that movie :p His character got his ass handed to him by Al Pacino's ending speech though...
Although this must be one his best cameo's (in punch drunk love)

Great actor. Will be missed. RIP.
Rest in peace you beautiful man!
Dan seeing this scene back makes me wonder how PTA must feel now. He appeared in almost all of his movies, they were a deadly combination in movies.

So sad... He was simply awesome.
I'm not a film buff at all but I loved him as a rather unconventional villain in Mission Impossible 3. Sad news.

Let's all remember drug addiction is sad no matter who it is, celebrity or poor kid from the city. Let's focus on rehab and socialized medicine, not prison sentences and judgement.
I found out while watching the news an hour ago... Sad news. He was a great actor :(
I saw this on Twitter this morning through a few others tweets. Sad loss, sorry to see a good man and fantastic actor pass that young. :(
RIP indeed.
RIP. He was an awesome actor.
Oh dang, I rewatched The Ides of March just earlier today.

I was not aware he had substance-abuse problems (but then I don't follow Hollywood news). Sad that he did and that he's gone. He was a very gifted actor and I enjoyed lots of his films, the cinema just got poorer.
Definately underutilized actor. Quite good for the roles I remember him for.
RIP, heart goes out to his loved ones.
